I was browsing on the internet this morning looking for free stitchery sampler patterns.  Personally I am not that good at cross stitch or needlepoint but I do seem to have quite a few stitchery kits in my craft room, some started and some never opened.  Also, I have made a few as gifts over the years.

Anyway, here are two sampler patterns that I found this morning:

• Anniversary Sampler from Better Homes and Gardens. If you have friends or family members celebrating a special Wedding Anniversary, this would make a beautiful gift. Click here for supply list and to download the pattern.

Today I was looking for a Candy Cane Cross Stitch pattern. At Candy Cane Facts I found a green and white candy cane, Candy Sticks, and a tiny candy cane.

Then I started looking for other free Christmas Cross Stitch patterns. I found quite a few that I thought would make nice ornaments or gifts this Christmas:
