When I was young one of my favorite activities was coloring. When my son was young I gave him some coloring books and we colored together once in a while, but he never really took to it.
There are many free coloring pages you can print out on the internet. I think it would be a great idea to print out some coloring pages, on whatever theme you choose, and then have the kids color them, date and sign them and put them together into a little booklet to treasure.
Here are a few free coloring links for St. Patrick’s Day to get you started:
So, get those crayons and markers out and have fun coloring together.

Today while browing the internet I came across Vintage Image Craft.com where I found St. Patrick’s Day Pins and Pendants you can make using Vintage Images (pdf file). Also there is a St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Decoration you can make using more Vintage Images (pdf file).
And at A Fanciful Twist there are instructions to make a glittery shamrock pin to wear on St. Patrick’s Day.
At Wordplay I found many links to free clip art that you could use to make cards and decorations for St. Patrick’s Day.
