Make a Quilted Potholder!

I have done some quilting before and I was looking for a quick, easy project.

I fould this Simple Quilted Potholder at Craftzine.

For this potholder you will need:

4 strips of light to medium-weight cotton fabric, each measuring 9″×2.75″
9″×9″ piece of light to medium-weight cotton fabric
Two 9″×9″ pieces of cotton quilt batting (I like Warm & Natural brand.)
4″–5″ length of ribbon

Everytime I go shopping I notice that all the stores have their own reusable shopping bags. Most of them are black with the store logo on them. But for Spring, I think it would be nice to have a brighter colored tote bag.

After some searching on the internet I was able to find a few tutorials on how to make my own tote bag.

Christmas Craft Ideas from other Bloggers!!

I have been reading quite a few blogs recently looking for new and creative Christmas Craft ideas. Here are some I would like to share with you.

  • Make it from Scratch has 5 easy Christmas Crafts for the kids to make: Dough Ornaments, Paint Brush Santa Ornament, Ribbon Stitch Foam Stocking and Chenille Stem Candy Canes. I think the Paint Brush Santa Ornament is a neat idea.

Denim Pocket Magnets Quick Mother’s Day Craft

For this project you will need: denim jean pockets cut from old jeans, fabric paint, some lace trim, fridge magnet, and glue (craft or hot glue). You can find all the instructions here to make these Denim Pocket Magnets. Make some for your mom this Mother’s Day.
