Recycle your Milk Carton and make a Bird Feeder!

This week it is cold and has even snowed a bit here in Pangman, Saskatchewan, and I am wondering when Spring is actually going to arrive.

cartonfeeder.jpgWhen I was looking for some craft ideas for the garden and yard I came across this Bird Feeder project over at All Free Crafts, made from a milk carton. To make this project you will need:

  • milk or juice carton
  • craft knife or scissors
  • wax pencil or crayon
  • ruler or straight edge
  • two small lengths of double-sided tape
  • two bamboo skewers or straight, small diameter twigs to use as perchs
  • bird seed
  • hole punch
  • twine to make a hanger

    Denim Pocket Magnets Quick Mother’s Day Craft

    pocketnotes.jpgWhile searching for ideas using old blue jeans, I found Denim Pocket Magnets to make from the pockets of jeans over at All Free Crafts. For this project you will need: denim jean pockets cut from old jeans, fabric paint, some lace trim, fridge magnet, and glue (craft or hot glue). You can find all the instructions here to make these Denim Pocket Magnets. Make some for your mom this Mother’s Day.
