This evening I came across a free cross stitch pattern for an Easter Bunny Sampler from Hancock’s House of Happy.

They have included the DMC colour key in the chart but you don’t have to stick to that. Experiment with your favourite colours.

What I’ve Been Working On!

Sunday, January 23rd, 2011

Well another New Year has arrived and I thought I would share with you some of the recent things I have been working on.

In November 2010 I crocheted a Ripple Lap Afghan using the pattern from Classic Afghans to Knit and Crochet [Leisure Arts Leaflet 44].  I made it with Red Heart Worsted weight yarn in Light Grey and Burgundy, about 38″ by 38″. Just a nice size for using while reading or watching TV.

In December and January I crocheted four shawls for the Ladies Auxiliary here in Pangman, which shawls were donated to our Care Home. I used the Half Granny Square pattern which I found on the River Glorious World Blog.

Sew or Quilt a Tote Bag for Spring!!

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

Everytime I go shopping I notice that all the stores have their own reusable shopping bags. Most of them are black with the store logo on them. But for Spring, I think it would be nice to have a brighter colored tote bag.

After some searching on the internet I was able to find a few tutorials on how to make my own tote bag.

I was looking outside just now and all I see is snow everywhere. We have had more snow here this year than in the past few years.  I went in the craft room last night, dug out some bright colored knitting cotton and made up this dishcloth to brighten up the kitchen.  I made this one using white and variegated pink wool.

This Petal Dishcloth pattern can be found at Dishcloth Boutique.   They have many free dishcloth patterns to knit and crochet.
