Spring Flowers!!

Today it is cold and snowing here in Pangman, Saskatchewan.  I can not wait for Spring to arrive.

If you can not wait for Spring here are some bright colored flowers you can make up with your children.

  • Spring Blossoms from The Tulip Lady.  If you have some paper scraps, foam craft shapes, glue, and popsicle sticks around the house you can make up some of these bright colored blossoms.
  • Heart Flowers from FamilyCorner.com. Cut out hearts from red or pink construction paper and glue together to make a flower and glue onto a Popsicle or Craft stick. Click here for supplies and instructions.
  • Paper Tulip Garden from Our Big Earth.  Using some bright colored paper cut out some tulips, glue the tulip to a popsicle stick and then put the tulips into an egg carton. Click here for supplies and instructions.

After you have made up some of these bright colored flowers be sure to take some photos for your family scrapbook to treasure forever.

Stitch some Birds and Flowers for Spring!!

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

I was looking through my craft magazines last night and found some flower and bird cross stitch pictures that I thought I might like to stitch.  Then I decided to check out to see if I could find any on the Internet. I checked out AllCrafts.net and found quite a few links to free cross stitch designs.

Stitch up some of these bright colorful designs to decorate your home this Spring.
