Holiday Craft Source

Looking for some quick and easy ornaments to make this year. You may want to try to make some of these using felt.

• At SavesonCrafts I found instructions to make a Felt Mitten and Felt Snowman Ornament.
• At Better Homes and Garden I found another Felt Mitten , Felt Ice Skates, Appliqued Hearts, and Christmas Cardinal Dove Ornament.
• At FamilyFun I found a Flying Bird Ornament.
• At Dot Com Women they have templates you can print out to make other Christmas felt ornaments: bell, tree, gingerbread man, candy cane and more.

You may also be interested in making an Advent Calendar using felt.

• At The Purl Bee I found instructions on how to make an Embroidered Felt Advent Calendar.
• At The Crafty Cattery I found another Felt Advent Calendar with felt oranments. A great project for Christmas.

I can not believe that the 1st week of November is already over. Christmas is going to be here before I know it.

Here are some Christmas Trees you can make as ornaments for your tree.

• At Christmascrafts.com I found the following Tree Ornaments to make:

1. Felt Christmas Tree. For this project you will need green felt, small buttons and decorations, embroidery floss, and balls of cotton.
2. Country Christmas Tree Ornament. Another tree to make out of felt. For this one you will need: green and brown felt, three small red buttons, black embroidery floss and several balls of cotton.
3. Chenille Stem Christmas Tree Ornament. This tree is made with pony beads and a chenille stem. A great one to make with the kids.

• At AllFreeCrafts I found a Beaded Christmas Tree Pattern you could use to make a pendant, ornament or earrings. For this beaded tree you will need: 29 pieces of 4mm Crystal, Pearl or Beads and 25 gauge wire (0.25mm).
• At Knitting on the Net I found a Knitted Christmas Tree Ornmanet. Use up some of your leftover  yarn to make this little tree ornament.
• At Kaboose there is a Christmas Tree made with Craft Sticks. For this ornament you will need: 1 jumbo craft stick, 5 regular craft sticks, green and brown craft paint, 12” yarn or ribbon,1 gold glittery chenille stem, ½ silver glittery chenille stem and 25-30 colored sequins.
• And at Marlo’s Crochet Corner I found a Christmas Tree Ornmanet to Crochet. A great way to use up some of that leftover yarn.
