Scrunchies to Crochet for Mother’s Day

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

scrunchie.jpgI found two patterns for crocheted scrunchies over at Craftown.

For these you will need 1 goody pony elastic; small amount of worsted weight (WW) yarn, any 2 colors of your choice. For pattern 1 you will need a size G (4 mm) Crochet hook and for pattern 2 a size D (3.25 mm) Crochet hook.

If your mother wears her hair in a pony tail, make her one of these lovely crocheted scrunchies for Mother’s Day.

The other evening I found a free cross stitch pattern from About.com – Cross Stitch for a Shamrock. I thought it would make a nice design to put on a dish cloth, so I made this Shamrock Dishcloth.

It is made using Bernat Cotton Wool, white and green, and is all single crochet.

You can find the cross stitch pattern I used for this dishcloth pattern here.

To print this pattern, click on the .pdf file below. You will need Acrobat Reader to print this pattern.
