Make a Handmade Gift and Card for Mom!!

Today I was looking for some handmade gifts and cards that children can make for their mom for  Mother’s Day.

At Amazing Moms I found:

At Family Fun I found:

  • ABC Book of Mom. Using a blank notebook, some crayons or markers. For each letter of the alphabet draw or write something about your mother. Click here for supplies and instructions.
  • Mother’s Day Box. Decorate a shoe box and add small presents. Click here for supplies and instructions.
  • House Helper Card. Make a pledge to help Mom around the house with this colorful card. Click here for supplies and instructions.
  • Photo House Card. Make this card in the shape of a house and include photos of Mom’s favourite faces. Click here for supplies and instructions.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful time crafting for Easter and of course eating all that Easter Candy that the Easter bunny left. It is now the middle of April, so time to start working on gift ideas for Mother’s Day.

Today I was checking out the Creative Kids at Home website. They have lots of Mother’s Day Gifts that your children can make.

  • Hand Print Apron. Buy a plain apron and then decorate it with your children’s hand prints. You can also decorate pillowcases or shirts. Click here for supplies and instructions.

Easter is just around the corner. I thought today I would post a few quick crafts that you can do with the whole family.

  • Easter Coloring Pages from Woman’s Day.  Print out these coloring pages for your children to color: Easter Egg, Easter Bunny, Easter is in the Air, Easter Basket and Easter Chicks. You will need Acrobat Reader to print these coloring pages.

It is warm and snow is melting here today. I started to think it was time to find some crafts for Easter for the Children and family to make. So, today I am going to post some Easter Bunny Craft ideas:

At FamilyCorner:

  • Spring Bunnies. These cute bunnies are made with a Styrofoam egg, chenille stems, felt. Click here for supplies and instructions.
  • Styrofoam Cup Bunny. This cute bunny is made using Styrofoam cups, cotton balls, pom poms. Click here for supplies and instructions.
  • Mini Bunny in a Pot. For this cute bunny you will need: blue & pink felt, pom-poms, and a mini clay pot. Click here for supplies and instructions.

With Christmas only 8 days from now, I thought I would post some quick easy Christmas Popsicle Stick Crafts that the whole family can make.
