canada-flag.jpg Happy Canada Day!! I hope everyone had a great day across Canada. My husband and I went to the Exhibition at Weburn. We walked through the Midway, played a few games, had some Mini-Donuts and went through the petting zoo.

Canada Day Crafts for the Kids!!

canadadaystreamer.jpg I found some craft ideas to make with the kids for Canada Day over at Create-Kids-Crafts.

  • Canada Day Streamer made using a large white paper plate and 4 red colored streamers.
  • Maple Leaf Tree Rubbings using tracing paper or light weight paper, red crayons, and
    maple leaves.
  • Canada Day Fridge Magnets – red and white, using the tops of juice can lids,washed clean, magnets, and red, white or silver glitter.
  • Sparkly Canada Day WaterJar made using a baby food jar or pickle jar, red, white and/or silver glitter or foil confetti, tiny toy or greenery(optional), florist clay(if using tiny toy or greenery)
    distilled water or water that has been boiled and cooled.
