Recycle your Milk Carton and make a Bird Feeder!

This week it is cold and has even snowed a bit here in Pangman, Saskatchewan, and I am wondering when Spring is actually going to arrive.

cartonfeeder.jpgWhen I was looking for some craft ideas for the garden and yard I came across this Bird Feeder project over at All Free Crafts, made from a milk carton. To make this project you will need:

  • milk or juice carton
  • craft knife or scissors
  • wax pencil or crayon
  • ruler or straight edge
  • two small lengths of double-sided tape
  • two bamboo skewers or straight, small diameter twigs to use as perchs
  • bird seed
  • hole punch
  • twine to make a hanger
  • You will find all the instructions to make this Bird Feeder here.

      Hi Gina,

Yes, I think it is a cute design as well. Something different. But, it still wants to snow here in Saskatchewan, snowed on Saturday and is suppose to snow again sometime this week.
