Handmade Mother’s Day Cards
I was thinking that it would be a nice idea to make my mother-in-law a handmade card this year. But, I have never made a handmade card before, and I really do not know how to make one.
While searching for ideas I found instructions for making 4 Mother’s Day cards at Crafty-Moms.com.
To make one of these cards you will need a blank greeting card, scrapbooking paper with floral pattern, coordinating solid piece of scrapbooking paper, cream or white colored cardstock, paper cutter, scissors, glue stick, computer, printer, and a sewing machine. I never thought of using my sewing machine to make cards, what a neat idea.
I found this card
at Making Handmade Cards. This card is made in stages and takes more time and a steady hand as it is made with glitter and seed beads.
I have not decided yet whether I will be making one of these cards for my mother-in-law. If I do make one, I will post an image of it here before giving it to her for Mother’s Day.
Happy Crafting!!
